I just saw my first real life boa constictor wrapped around a girl at the VET's last week. You should have seen all of us cat and dog people staring at that thing. The assistants at the desk were standing VERY still while she was up there and talking very carefully. God, it looked powerful. Wild, dangerous and alien, too. Kind of fascinating.
