Am a stupid monkey.

I just finished Lireal. (In 48 hours, no less. Am the speed reading champ of the universe. Bow Down.)

It is way shiny. Even the cover, which has the wrong Disreputable Dog on it. Everyone knows that the Dog is a fleethound a la Dearskin. (I'm not sure where exactly I picked up this image, but it's stuck. Dog is Ash. Only black and brown.)

I love the history of the Charter, which is finally coming forward. (Damnit, I've been curious. I worry about these sorts of things.) I'm thinking that Mogget is the Eighth, whatever's got Hedge is the Ninth, and Dog is either the Sixth or Seventh. (If I had the book in front of me, I could say which one for sure, but I don't and I can't.)

I knew (and by knew, of course, I mean that I vaguely suspected) about Lireal's father. The covers were too well drawn for me not to pick up on that. (Although, this means that Juniper and Wise Child are also some how related to the Abhorsen. Can't you just see Juniper striding around Death, vanquishing the evil and giving Mogget a bath?)

None of this, however, is my point. (Which, if you've forgotten, is about my being a stupid monkey.) I can't get the "leave commnets here" (whichever it says) to change. I know that it's not difficult, but for some reason, it eludes me. (I'm thinking that starting before midnight thirty might help, as might being in a "sympathetic towards Mogget or computers in general" sort of mood.)

Pfft. Like that's going to happen any time soon. Gaming tonight! Steff-o's got the connections, and I am playing Cosmic!
