The Shocking Thing About Owen
Jul. 3rd, 2002 03:56 pmOoo. Shocking. Today, beliefnet showed me that I'm not the good little Buddhist I thought I was. According to their belief quizlet thing, I ought to be a Quaker. Buddhism didn't even make the top five! (And creepily enough, I evidntly have more in common with the beliefs of the Mormon church than the Catholic one.)
After reading the little bio of Quakerism, I do agree. It seems that the founding principle is "What you believe is not important. What you do is."
1. Liberal Quakers (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (97%)
3. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (92%)
4. Neo-Pagan (92%)
5. Theravada Buddhism (83%)
6. Secular Humanism (81%)
7. New Age (79%)
8. Mahayana Buddhism (77%)
9. Bahá'í Faith (70%)
10. Taoism (65%)
( And some random quizzes I couldn't resist. Let there be no doubt that I am, in fact, Eck. )
