Oct. 16th, 2002 09:30 pmNot much to say. That seems to be my theme lately. Where is the interest? Where are my interesting events to whing on about? Instead of taking some time and writing something of substance, I'll just present a numbered list of things of the day.
1. The word of the day is Glib.
2. America/ns scare me today. Not that they don't usually, but today it's worse. People who don't vote, news that doesn't report things, the selfishness that everyone showed today- it adds up sometimes, and it all makes me angry. And I don't know what I can do about it besides staying well informed (Common Dreams rocks my world.) and telling people what morons they are. 3. Posture Boy is strange.
4. I owe more mix CD's than there are glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling.
5. I played around with a degree plan today, and realized I'm going to have to triple up on labs if I want to graduate in however many years it takes me. I also freaked myself out by writing "Spring 2006" on a piece of paper. I do not plan that far ahead. I don't live that far in the future. (I left the paper blank.)
6. I think the time has come for me to pick one name and go with it. Fandom people are complaining that they can't figure out who the heck I am. Normally I'd just smile and tell them to live with it, but online I kind of see the point. So here's my question... do I go with one of the billion names I have now, or do I (for the very first time) pick out my own name? Oooo possiblites.
7. It's funny that I'm excited about that.
8. I still haven't finished my Chemistry homework. I have however spent the last nine hours studying. Screw it, I'll do it in the morning.
9. I am out of cereal. This is a crisis people! I can't believe I had the gall to say that after #2.
