Apr. 9th, 2003 11:49 amWell, yay. I suppose this means that I have to tell my parents I've officially applied to art school, otherwise this story will be even more surreal. Sooner or later, I guess.
I'm writing a work of original fiction for my art class. (The assignment was to write and illustrate a "novette" -_- I want to know what it is about me that attracts art!nazis. I find it hard to believe that they're out there in these numbers everywhere, but fully three quarters of my teachers have all been of the "if it doesn't kill you it makes you a better artist" school.)
And now I want someone to kill it dead. I want evil beta of doom, from someone who doesn't know me at all. Jen (one of my beta-ies) said that she has all the editing skill of a wet noodle, so I'm thinking she's not going to be a whole lot of help. Ko and Bibi gave me funny looks and mumbled things about "being able to write" when they read it, so... sooooooooo..... sooooooooooooooooo. Yah, maybe I should finish the story before I worry about this, but I've just killed off one of my favorite characters, and I am worried that my story is unworthy of her death.
Bugger all that, I'm going to go take my nap.
