odd, odd, odd.
May. 10th, 2003 11:42 pmToday was surreal.
First: Ko woke me up at six thirty. >:O I forgive her, because she was saying goodbye. But still. -_-
Second: I climbed V3. OH YAY FOR ME.
Third: PB has fully ruined any innocent connotations the Bandits sound track may ever have had. Thank you, that was sweet. -_-
Fourth: After leaving the home of PB, I went to the library. It was about eight-thirty, but since it is finals week, and I know the library is open all the time, I thought nothing of it. I sat down in my usual desk, pulled out my music* and some books and settled into reading. An hour later (NINE TWENTY DURING FINALS WEEK) I notice that it's awfully dead even for the third floor of the library on a Saturday, so I put my books away and wander out. I noticed that it was kind of dark, and there was no one around, but it didn't hit me until I got to the front desk that the library was closed.
No problem. I just shelved the books I was planning to check out on the reserve shelf, so that I could get them tomorrow, and wandered out the front doors.
This was my plan.
The doors were locked.
From the outside.
Sometimes I worry about this university. So I went back to the computer bank (Which hadn't been shut off.) looked up the security in the campus directory, and IMed Ivy (I don't know, in my panicked state of mind, I figured she could get me out. Or something.)
Security got there about five minutes later, let me out, and laughed at me. -_-
Fifth: I think I have developed
a)A mad crush on God.
b)And Michael.
c)And a case of Ivy Blossom hero worship that's ridiculous.
Sixth: The third Artemis Fowl book. Screw Harry Potter: Artemis Fowl is my HERO.
*on a totally random note, my copy of Like Swimming is skipping on Eleven O'Clock. It's probably my least favorite song on the album, but still. STILL!
