I think this is what insomnia feels like.
Jul. 30th, 2003 12:58 amThe trouble with creativity, is that it's addictive.
I made myself a shirt today. (Oh, it is all kinds of snazzy. Pictures have been taken. Film will be developed sooner or later.) Plaid. Stripes. Great big appliqué rescue of an old favorite t-shirt. Darts. All, of course, patternless, because patterns were invented only to annoy me.
Then, I taught myself to knit. Kiddo is making herself a house scarf, in non-cannon colors, and it was just sitting there, asking to be fiddled with. I would like the record to state that knitting is mind numbing, but in a good way.
Then I began a birthday gift, a thank you gift, page four of my brilliant extended story-board, but my hands started twitching so I figured it was time to stop.
So I sat down to code myself a new lj theme, or at least a new front page for HWW, but I am all creatived out. I have zilch in the way of ideas, but I can't go to sleep, because the creative force is flowing through my veins.
It's rather uncomfortable, frankly.
