Sep. 4th, 2003 10:06 amMy problem is that I'm bored. Bored, bored, bored, bored. I have things to do, but why bother? I can put them off indefinitely and still get everything done.
( I whine. I don't go to class, I declare a major. )
At this time last year, I was putting together a portfolio for art schools, now I’m a biochemist. Life is weird. I am still bored though. And, (AND! As if that wasn't enough injury! Now with the insult!) I can't take photos. All the perspective and composition that are second nature in drawing dissolve when I come near a shutter button. On one hand this really frustrates me, because I love photography. On the other hand, man I'm whiny.
This mini rant brought to you by the girl who has carried a camera with her for the last two weeks and not taken a single picture, but who spent the two hours she was at work yesterday looking at the portfolio of a professional photographer.
I am going to the Dean dinner tonight with Sport Chris, who called me at six to ask what you’re supposed to wear to a fundraising dinner. How the heck am I supposed to know?
The brilliant upside of today: I did the math. Since arriving at school twelve days ago, I have run a hundred miles. -_-
