Aug. 11th, 2004 09:31 pmThere are few things in the world so wrong and unfair as the summer cold. My cheekbones ache, my nose is stuffy, and I appear to have turned nocturnal.
Huzzah last week of summer, huzzah.
My sister just bought her first college textbook today. I felt we ought to have a celebration, but then realized that it would be pushing my levels of geek into a new category. Regardless, Intermediate Algebra, here she comes. They all grow up so fast.
I am beginning to think about packing for back to school. This is not cool on many, many levels. Especially since I have this sinking sensation that I'm going to forget something vitally important, like my socks.
My computer is still in the shop, getting its guts torn out. I should probably feel less viciously joyful about that, but no. It deserves what it gets.
