Apr. 9th, 2006 01:33 pmBibi and Agate and I watched Bullit last night. (BULLIT!) Let me just state, for the record that Steve McQueen is magnetically compelling (while hot). Also: the GTO is a sexy, sexy car and Mr. Delorian ought be highly commended for designing it.
This movie in no way ameliorated my sincere desire to become a stunt person. Seriously, people get paid to drive like maniacs in crazy cars though the streets of San Fransisco, and I want in on the deal.
However: I write today, because I am making a book about "conventional wisdom," and I was hoping you denizins of the internet have some to share. I'm not sure what exact definition I'm operating under- things your mother told you? proverb-like? something I haven't even begun to consider?
So: Have any conventional wisdom to share? I can promise undying gratitude and your very own colophon page.
LASTLY: Have you seen this game? It is the knot untying game of awesome awesome(!) awesome(!!), and I am at level fifteen, which with my attention span is really saying something. Go forth and untangle vertices! Much like Steve McQueen, this game is strangely compelling.
