When the universe starts throwing things at you, they just keep coming POW BANG POW.

Or something. One Peace Corps invitation turned down, another prospectus to look forward to on Wednesday. (I'm not going to talk about it for fear of jinxing it, but OH MAN. WILDLY EXCITING.)
One car accident, one insurance check. (And dude, for the record? I am totally impressed with the level of service one gets when one is hit by a holder of a GEICO policy. If one must be in a dumb accident, I recommend them pretty strongly.)
One apartment packed, one room at home decimated. (I loathe unpacking with a deep passionate hatred. At this point, I'd rather just throw the damn boxes away. How much will I really miss it anyway?)
One old friend kidnapped for backpacking and madness in the Gila. (Yay!)
One week till Blues Fest. Not that I'm excited or anything.
