Aug. 24th, 2008 09:32 amThere is nothing like promising yourself you can sleep in as late as you want, and waking up cheerfully at seven.
I forget, betweentimes, how stressful theater is. I'm stage managing "The Thread of Life" at work, if you're in Albuquerque, I feel pretty confident recommending it. One of the leads is simply phenomenal, and John Steinbeck guest stars (Via his Nobel acceptance speech, which is lovely.) Also: it's about the discovery of the structure of DNA, and who doesn't love a good women-in-science story?
I'm also doing my darndest to finish my medical school application essay, which is a beast. I'm hoping that Tuesday (which will incidentally be the first day I've had entirely off work this whole month) it will be ready to have a last polish and edit.
