Oh, it's been crazy and insane and god, I love this town.
The Blues Fest. A weekend of music, wandering around aimlessly, visiting with local odd balls and hermits, and funnel cake. Heavens, lets not forget the funnel cake- fried dough, grease, and powdered sugar, one of those essential, integral parts of summer.
Highlights (Because days later, I have not written and we all know I have the memory of a ferret on speed.)
Dancing to Smoky Joe Cuba, with AJ labeling our hands (my hand rocks more than Zane's)
"Badass Joe!"
The Hula Hoops (which I was able to keep going for more than a second- a lifetime record for me)
Corey Harris. Because he kicked ass. It was beautiful.
Getting into involved philosophical discussions about the Beatniks at 2 in the morning. Gary Snyder is god, and I am Zen.
But- with out question, the defining memory is the Strip Off, will live in our memories forever and ever.
