I have just had the best back-to-class day ever. In the sense that one of my teachers looks geeky and short and told me not to buy another sketch book, another teacher didn't show, and my Vertebrate Zoology professor is the coolest person on the face of the earth.* In forty-five minutes, he managed to reference the Dark Crystal, the Hitchhikers Guide, and make swooshi light saber noises. (I haven't seen the Dark Crystal or read the Star Wars book, but I approve on principle.) Also, he draws lots of stupid little pictures to illustrate his points. These will be the most entertaining class notes ever.

Then I saw old campus friends and NJB came by with costume shop woman, and there was good food, and I am in an extraordinarily good mood right now.

And right now, someone in my dorm is practicing the alto sax, and they are good.

Sentences, still no, fun levels, still yay.

*Defining "cool" as "aha ha ha, you are a geek like me."

i havent even met mine yet, but im fairly certian that yours win.

and- do you have a roommate? even if you do, i think that i would love to live with you.

Well, this perticular one does kind of rule. The others, they're OK, but I'll need more to go on before I pledge them my first born and all that.

I don't have a roommate, but this is because I live in a shoebox. Or, as they like to call them here, a "single room." You would be such an awesome roommate it hurts.

That sounds great. My first day's tomorrow and I hope it's as good.
