I have very little to say for myself lately. Not all that different than usual, I suppose. Life is surprisingly mellow, sweet, and cold.
Thanksgiving was lovely; A bit of snowshoeing with NJB, a bits of visits with
pixie_of_spite and
kobelladonna, very little actual homework or productivity. Also, weirdly enough, very little food. Thanksgiving fasts, really, only Buddhists would do something so silly.
Behind this cut is the bones of my photo project, which came out so much better than I had any right to hope. The formating came out a little wonky in places, because it's actually bound- you're seeing two pages at once, except for the first and last pages. Which is probably perfectly clear, but I can't help babbling. Confession: I'm really one of these terrible artists that hovers over their work and tries to explain every nuance, but then I remember that you're not supposed to do that- you're supposed to let the work talk for itself so I end up saying things like "The book only opens to ninety degrees, which is significant... somehow, and not at all an accident. That picture was actually my least favorite of the eight I took of that composition, but it's the only one I didn't get my shadow in, so there it went." and so on and so forth. Aren't you glad to have missed all that in the digital version?

Mostly, I am just thrilled to be done, and never have to look at this again, ever.
