Oct. 3rd, 2003 02:00 pmNever argue with an arthritic about the weather. It's a dumb dumb thing to do.
Ko and Laura, you two had best appreciate the sheer volume of Sharpie fumes I inhaled for you. This is love and devotion people. LOVE AND DEVOTION.
Went to a Peace Corps dinner, which has convinced me that I do not need to serve another term. I was going to wax poetic, but I won't. Really all I wanted to say is that it's kind of terrible to feel old around people ten years your senior.
Between my poor aching bones, my Sharpie induced Alzheimer's and young people these days; I am ninety-five years old today. (I am going to enjoy being a crotchety old woman something feirce.)
Tomorrow begins "Drop Out Of School" week. I am celebrating by reading John Taylor Gatto and going to class. There is something skewed there, but I'm not going to examine it too closely, because I'm already going to be in school for eight hundred billion years.
