Oct. 30th, 2003 08:12 pmMy updates keep getting eaten. This is oh-so-very-not-cool, lj.
I am reading the Torah. I am surprised by how much I am enjoying it, seeing as it's basically the Bible and we all know how much I loooooved that.
It’s that part of the semester again- the part wherein I contemplate having a breakdown, but decide to stop caring about it all, and zen my way though again. I am still in the “THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN A DAY” stage, but I have hopes of surviving till Thursday, when it gets manageable again. School is generally disinteresting and uninspiring- I feel like a chump for being here at all.
Gave blood yesterday. The nurses fangirled my veins but despite this, they managed to stick the needle into the valve of the vein, making the experience both painful and slow. Now I am sporting bruises on the insides of both elbows, making me look like a heroin junkie. Whee. I did get this horrible sense of moral superiority out of the deal though and a shiny red card with my blood type on it so I feel like it all works out.
I am madly excited for Halloween tomorrow. I am dressing up as Hunter, from Faith’s comic Ice. Ohyeswhee!
Other than that, I'd like to welcome
runninginplace to the lj. You'll note that he has mastered (IN HIS FIRST ENTRY) the "lj user" tag, which he had to explain to me more than a year after my debut. Evidently, I am not just dating him for his looks. (Ah ha. Yes I am.)
