aintbroke: (it had to end sometime)

My updates keep getting eaten. This is oh-so-very-not-cool, lj.

I am reading the Torah. I am surprised by how much I am enjoying it, seeing as it's basically the Bible and we all know how much I loooooved that.

It’s that part of the semester again- the part wherein I contemplate having a breakdown, but decide to stop caring about it all, and zen my way though again. I am still in the “THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN A DAY” stage, but I have hopes of surviving till Thursday, when it gets manageable again. School is generally disinteresting and uninspiring- I feel like a chump for being here at all.

Gave blood yesterday. The nurses fangirled my veins but despite this, they managed to stick the needle into the valve of the vein, making the experience both painful and slow. Now I am sporting bruises on the insides of both elbows, making me look like a heroin junkie. Whee. I did get this horrible sense of moral superiority out of the deal though and a shiny red card with my blood type on it so I feel like it all works out.

I am madly excited for Halloween tomorrow. I am dressing up as Hunter, from Faith’s comic Ice. Ohyeswhee!

Other than that, I'd like to welcome [livejournal.com profile] runninginplace to the lj. You'll note that he has mastered (IN HIS FIRST ENTRY) the "lj user" tag, which he had to explain to me more than a year after my debut. Evidently, I am not just dating him for his looks. (Ah ha. Yes I am.)

On another unrelated note, I know a girl named Bob. Yes. Bob. I'm totally serious.

Consider yourself lucky.

That just seems uncalled for. At least I come by Owen honestly, as a nickname, given to mock. You'd think her parents would be above such playground behavior.

Or not, I guess.

It's been far too long is what it's been. I am dead to the world until Tuesday evening, so it might be a while longer, but I know where to find you, as you know where to find me.

I am not being anything for Halloween. I am going to my friends' performance (a cappella and the African dance group here). ;_;

Take pictures?

I am impressed by your Boy's usage of tags. I just learned how to type that one out last week. *applauds*

Bibish and I were discussing your lack of dressing up at dinner today. We feel that if this sort of "adult" "mature" behavior continues, the Neep will be forced to take corrective measures.

Costume looked amazing, and I saw NO ONE with a camera all day. I may have to corner ex-roommate tomorrow for a rescheduled photoshoot. Or I could write my paper.

Boys = ick

So. My plans changed last night. We went to the Dhamaka (all-male extremely good South Asian dance group on campus) show, then had so much energy that my friends talked me into *gasp* getting dressed up and going out to a frat party. I did full bellydance costume, we went to the Pi Kappa party, met up with some guys we know, and danced like crazy. There is beer on the cuff areas of my harem pants. Ewwwww. Sticky.
