Jan. 17th, 2004 08:46 pmI have this friend. Her name is Ko. When I called her up cross country to get bus directions to a place she's been once, in a city she no longer lives in, she only laughed at me a little bit.
Ko has a mother. When it was determined that the busses do not run this weekend because the city of Albuquerque hates me personally she lent me a car. "Here," she said. "I have seen you drive before, and yet I still trust you with the keys to my car."
This family is good to me far beyond what I deserve.
In other news, I have finally come up with New Years resolutions. This year, I resolve to: 1) Call the Contingent on their respective birthdays. (As of this moment, I am Oh-for-Nine) and 2) Pare down my MP3s from the ridiculously stupid six thousand eight hundred and eleven I have, to twenty five hundred that I'll actually listen to.
