Sep. 21st, 2005 01:05 pmI logged into lj (at work! Work, I ask you!) hoping that someone would have something brilliant and/or funny to say, to bump me out of my small-but-increasingly-worse bad mood.
It turns out you lot are having a worse day than I am. Uncool, friends-o-mine, uncool. (And of course, you all seem to have very valid reasons- sexual harrassment! school woes! illness! money problems! really stupid people at work!; which makes my dumb, petty reason for a bad day seem even stupider. Somehow, the perspective blues isn't any less depressing.)
I saw Corpse Bride on Monday, because evidently, your university is only as good as the perks that come through it. I really wanted to like it, but only managed to feel unimpressed. I honestly don't think that a plot twist (A single twist! One thing that is not telegraphed from the opening scene!) is much to ask of a film, nor do I believe that stop motion animation can't have subtlety. Anyway, I'm reverting back to my earlier stance that the only movies I'm allowed to watch are action films.
