Oct. 11th, 2005 03:52 pmYou may remember me speaking about Immunology fondly. Oh, for those fond days again! That was before T-cells, which, while awesomely functional what with their negative and positive selection and their CD3 complexes that I want to describe as "cute", seem to exist solely to confuse and annoy me.
Seriously. I have no idea what serves as a ligand to a mature alpha-beta TCR. I don't. And if I did, my guess would totally not have been CD4, CD8, MHC class I bound to peptide or beta2-microglobulin. In fact, my answer would have been "none of the above" but evidently that would be wrong.
I dislike walking out of a test knowing that I guessed on answers, because it makes me antsy. Also: I like being smug and guessing totally destroys my street cred. But it's alright because it's over now. There is nothing more I can do. Plus, aside from that question, I am confident that I pretty much rocked the test. And I have a lab report about (of all stupid things) sunflowers to write now, so focus focus, focus. GAH.
I highly resent the amount of time I am spending doing schoolwork lately.
