Oct. 21st, 2005 11:15 amIn the past week, I've purchased no less than five legal pieces of software, bringing my total legal software purchases to, um. Five. Hurrah for brilliantly written pieces of code! (Now, all I need to do is learn how to use them.) I also seem to have acquired a few various and sundry pieces of computer hardware. Oh, the joy that is a new stylus for my tablet!
So basically, what I've learned is that when I am not busy writing papers or studying for tests, I become a consumer whore. This is one of those things I am happier not knowing about myself, but things. They are so shiny and I can not resist. Also: the Peace Corps isn't returning my call, and I am becoming more and more nervous about this as time progresses. Maybe that means that nerves translate into buying things. Either way, I now have all this stuff I don't need laying around, and why? Why don't they love me any more?
They should really call me back now.
