Alright, I wasn't going to ask, but god almighty, HELP!
I can't FTP my background to my site. What's that all about? The HTML works in the "view this page in external browser" mode of coding program, but when I uploaded it, no background.
Right, I said, have to upload my background image too. So I did. And nothing. So I deleted the big long name in front of the "background.jpg" from my HTML, and re-uploaded it and the back ground itself. Nothing.
Must have done something weird the first time, so I added back in the ".../.../program files etc..." to the HTML- nada.
Now I have reached the frustration point. I know I have my FTP configured correctly, because I got the HTML up. So why won't my background load? Huh?

Date: 2002-10-27 06:40 am (UTC)1. Clear you browser cache/temporary files then reboot your computer. Sometimes different versions of the same HTML file in your browser's cache cancel each other out.
2. Save a copy of the page and delete the background image code, then enter it manually. Try that version. Also make sure there are not double background tags that cancel out the background image tag.
3. Pray.

3. No answer as of yet.
On the upside, the host people said it's been a problem lately, and very likely it isn't my I've got the fault. Thanks for the ideas though, it did debug one of my broken links.
