Back to the grindstone.

Except for the part where I spend two and a half hours conceiving of imaginary wars between places, and who would win them.

Texas vs. Detroit. After many damages to both sides, Texas would crush the Motor City, in such a way that it would never return.

NYC vs. LA. I maintain that NYC would beat it's sorry (*$#@(*#@#*( to the ground in about twelve minutes.

The real debate was in the battle of Las Cruces vs. El Paso. It's kind of a given that Cruces is going down, but the margin of loss was up for grabs. (On the upside, we got a lovely visual of Ag students riding Mad Cow infested Cows across the Texas/New Mexico border while throwing rocks. Yes, we laughed long and hard today.)

Yes, I have missed the silliness inherent in getting large geek groups together. I have also missed games of three AM Calvinball, although we haven't had any of them yet. I'm trying to convert people to Australian Indoor-Rules Quiddich, but so far, it's been an uphill battle.

Ko, I need a preliminary final beta on a piece from you, and I'm almost done with the graphics, so I hope you'll be around tonight. If not, I'll see you when I see you, you horrible CD thief.

NYC would kill LA. Our first order of business would be to put the entire cast of "Good Day Live" in front of a firing squad. Or torture, of course.

That's what I said. Some other people were not so convinced.
