(no subject)

I am madly, crazily in love with this song. That is the good news.

The bad news is that I think this is leading up to be a long boring semester. I've had to drop my lovely art lab. My professor is tailoring the class to senior art majors with thesis to complete, which cuts me out. *shakes fist* I am going to miss the beautiful big tables to work on, but I'll squeeze my art time in somehow.

"Reason and Critical" is going to be mind numbing beyond anything I have experienced before. (I commiserated with the woman sitting next to me, who confided that as an out of state student, she had to take out loans to take this class. What a waste of useful money.)

Cell Biology may or may not be difficult. It seems that about a third of the class is straight out of intro to bio, and thusly actually remembers this stuff. I had intro to bio a full year ago, and I may actually have to study if I am expected to remember how to spell the enzymes that mitochondria use. Either way, it's going to be boring, which is a nasty combination. Boring classes ought to have the decency to be easy.

Genetics is going to be lovely. It's hard, but the professors (in the plural) love this stuff so much that it makes me excited about memorizing formulas.

Technology and Society is very small, and I talk too much. Other than that, I don't have much to say.

I thought about dropping Reason for Organic Chemistry, but I haven't started working, and I don't have any judge of how many hours or how hard the classes are going to turn out, and just AGH. That is my final statement on the subject.

On a nicer note, I shall be working in the pathology lab this year. Yes, verily it shall be so. I haven't found out if I get my own HAZMAT suit yet, but I am hoping.

HEY

Beth! Lets do lunch! Dinner! Theater! (I have missed you and your brilliant facial expressions over the summer.)

Did you get your postcard?

Amen to that. Although I feel that, if they were easy, they wouldn't be so boring :)

I'm back online! Look at me *waves*!

I took your suggestion and bought the AF first two books. I love them. I still have to get the 3rd but they're really good. I'm a t00b so I'm trying to "crack the code". It's fun :P

You're back from vacation hell! Woooonderful! I missed you!

Artemis rocks my little socks off. (I cracked the code too. T00bs are us, I guess.) The third one is my favorite, if only because we get more Mulch. Mmmmm, Mulch Diggums. (I am a Mulch fangirl, but Root is my favorite. He's so beet-like!)
